Enrolling new students each term


Please note the instructions below are only applicable to our Schools in Saudi Arabia (and not DfE schools), as some aspects of the MIS may differ by country.


Arbor has created all the Programmes for the COE, so all you will need to do is follow these three steps:

1. Go to Institutions> School Structure> Programme of Study and select the Programme you wish to add a new instance to. Add a new instance by selecting the +ADD button and remember to enter the correct start and end dates.

If you do not know the exact end date, please estimate the end date and make sure you rectify this date as soon as you know the exact end date.


2. Go to Students> Enrolment> Teaching Groups. Now you need to add ALL the Teaching Groups for that Instance and make sure you follow the correct naming convention. When adding the Teaching Groups, you need to link each Teaching Group to the correct Programme and Instance, as this is key for the COE Attendance reporting.


3. Go to Student> All Students> Add New Students. You now need to complete the basic details student details in the first page. Once you have added the basic information, you will be automatically directed to the Enrolment page. On this page, you will need to select the Add button next to the Programme Subheading and you can directly enrol the student to the Programme, Instance and Teaching Group. This will also automatically populate the correct dates and generate a college enrolment.
