Curriculum assessment FAQ

How do we assess a child working below their year group's curriculum?

If you have children working below the level of your curriculum assessment, you can add them to the curriculum assessment you'd like to assess them against instead.

To do this, go to Students > Assessments > Annual Policy > Manage Assessments. Select the curriculum assessment - it may be linked to a summative assessment so you may need to click + to find it.

In the Students section, click +Add.

In the slide over, select the students to add then click to add them. They will then appear on the assessment marksheet.

Can we link a curriculum assessment to multiple summative assessments?

It isn't possible to link a curriculum assessment to more than one summative assessment in Arbor. However, multiple curriculum assessments can be linked to one summative assessment.

Can we remove the colour-coding in report cards?

It isn't possible to remove the colour-coding from Formative Marksheets, but you can remove the colour-coded portion from the Report Cards.

In your report card, scroll down to the Curriculum Assessment section, click the curriculum and untick the Summative Grade box. This will remove the top table of results from the report card, including the colour-coding.
