What is the difference between my Pupil Premium reporting pages?

Pupil Premium

The Students > Demographics > Derived Indicators > Background > Pupil Premium page shows the students currently enrolled in your school that are eligible for Pupil Premium funding (i.e. to become Pupil Premium Recipients).

In this example, I have 21 students who are Pupil Premium.

Demographics > Pupil Premium Recipients

The Students > Demographics > Pupil Premium Recipients page shows the students who your school are getting funding for this Financial Year. You would have imported this file at the start of the new Financial Year (sometime in April). This article shows you how to do this at the start of the Financial Year.

In this example, 23 students are Pupil Premium Recipients where the school have received money for these students.

Background > Pupil Premium Recipients

The Students > Demographics > Derived Indicators > Background > Pupil Premium Recipients page shows you who out of the list in Students > Demographics > Pupil Premium Recipients are still currently enrolled in your school. As the Financial Year goes on, students from this list may leave your school. This will cause a difference in numbers between the 2 pages.

In this example, I have 16 Pupil Premium Recipient students enrolled into the school today.

Comparing this to the screenshot in the above section (23 students), 7 students with the Pupil Premium Recipient status have left the school at some point since the Pupil Premium Recipients file was uploaded to Arbor at the start of the Financial Year.
