Welcome to the Arbor eLearning module for Taking Attendance. This module is suitable for Admins.
In this module you will learn how to:
- access the daily attendance registers
- print off emergency registers
This module will take around 10 minutes to complete.
Once the registers have been taken, you can see the number of students who are present, absent, and late at a glance in the Marks column.
If you need to make any changes to the register, or take the register yourself, you can do this by choosing the register from the list, and then clicking the Edit Register button. This will take you to the same register view that class teachers see.
The register is automatically saved every time a mark is changed, so there is no need to press a save button! Once you have done everything you needed to do in this register, you click the 'back' arrow in your browser to return to the previous page.
You can also view all of the registers taken in Arbor for a particular date by clicking Registers by Date on the left of the Daily Attendance page. You can then choose the date you want to view by using the calendar picker at the top-right of this screen. Please note: you will only be able to view attendance registers that have been taken in Arbor on these pages; to view or change registers taken in your previous MIS, please go to Students > Attendance > Admin > Edit Imported Marks.

You will then be able to download a .pdf file which will contain a list of all students collated by registration form, as well as any of today's attendance marks and a space for you to mark your emergency register marks. You can then print off the file to take these registers on paper.
