Names that include accents or special characters can be typed into Arbor using a keyboard shortcut. For example, on a Mac to type ü, use option + u and then u again.
Top Tip: If a student's preferred name includes an accented letter, it will not be recognised when searching for the name unless you use the accented letter in the search too.
If a name has a capital letter within it, such as JJ or D'Ondre, this will revert back to lower case. Please contact the Arbor Support Team if supported by Arbor, or your Support Partner if not supported by Arbor.
