What report fields can I use with each report focus in the custom report writer?

This article contains a link to an Excel document at the bottom, which you can use to reference which report fields are available in each custom report focus. Just click the link, download your file and view the matrix with your favourite spreadsheet editor. 

Permissions

Access to data in the Custom Report Writer is based on a user's permissions. This means you are able to regulate what data they can see in order to safeguard your students and staff. Certain types of data may be restricted for some staff members without the correct permissions. For example, if you are unable to view Academic Notes on any student profiles, you won't be able to see it on the Custom Report Writer. 

You can view the permissions needed to report on each thing in Arbor by going to School > Users & Security > Access Control > Permissions

Fields

Not all fields on Arbor are reportable. If there is a field that you would like to report on that isn't currently available, please submit feedback to our product roadmap. You can do so following the guidance in this article: Our Product Roadmap and how to submit ideas and improvements

Please note: there may be small differences in the fields available on your site and those listed in the Excel file, as some data items are custom.

For example, on the matrix, you will find the field User-defined fields, but on your site, you will have a field for each user-defined field that you have set up.
