This article covers the common questions regarding the migration of student data into Arbor. If you cannot find an answer to your query in this article, check our dedicated section of the Help Centre here.

How will data from Integris be migrated to Arbor?

We will create a copy of the Integris database and use a series of pre-built scripts to extract, transform and insert the data into Arbor.

Can a school stipulate how many years of data they want to bring across?

No, the amount of data we migrate is predetermined and part of the built in functionality of the migration routine. We recommend the school remove any old records they do not want to migrate prior to their migration.

What assurances can we give a school with SEN in terms of the data we migrate and ensuring they are compliant for GDPR i.e specifically what data do we bring across data for SEN students and how far does this data go back?

We migrate:

  • Sen Event
  • Sen Event Outcome
  • Sen Event Participant
  • Sen Need
  • Sen Review Participant
  • Sen Status Assignment

We migrate all available SEN records relating to a migrating student (of which we migrate all student's present in the database. If historical student records are deleted prior to migration, the data associated with those students will not be migrated.

Is there a way a school can have a copy of their Integris back up so they have all of their Integris data?

The school will need to contact Integris support to discuss obtaining a copy of their backup.

Are Governors migrated from Integris?

Yes, governors migrate from in Integris if they have a staff profile created and have been assigned a staff type of 'Governor'. After your migration, you will need to manually assign a business role of 'Governing body member' to each of the members of the governing body.
