Arbor's National Data Connector

Arbor's National Data Connector is included with your BI Connector or Custom Data Warehouse subscription. It provides access to a range of datasets that complement your school's MIS data, helping you to benchmark and analyse performance across different areas.

What data is available?

The National Data Connector includes:

• Publicly available datasets, such as DfE Attendance and Absence data
• Phase-specific benchmarked metrics from schools using Arbor
• External data from various sources such as Indices of Deprivation
• Data Connectors for other Key Group products

All data is presented in a consistent, easy-to-use format that integrates seamlessly with your existing reports and dashboards.

How is the data maintained?

We manage the loading and formatting of all external datasets as they become available. This means you'll always have access to the most current data without needing to manually update or import anything yourself.

Using the data

You can use National Data Connector datasets to compare your school or MAT's performance against national figures, regional averages, or similar schools. This helps provide context for your own data and supports informed decision-making.

A complete list of data fields for each region is listed on the National tab of the relevant data catalogue, the available metric options are also defined in the data catalogue.

Note: Some Arbor benchmarks may not be available in all regions if the sample size isn't large enough to be deemed statistically relevant
