Error 4140 occurs when a staff member's former name contains consecutive spaces. To resolve this, edit the former name in the staff member's profile, remove any double spaces, and save the changes.
Error Message: Former Family Name has two or more consecutive spaces.
Resolution:
- Go to the staff member's profile
- Click on the staff member's former name in the Identity section
- Click on the Edit button
- Review the names entered, making sure there aren't double spaces
- Click Save Changes
