This article addresses the error message regarding multiple absence records for sickness or pregnancy on the same date. It provides steps to resolve the issue by either changing the absence type or amending the dates. If the records are correct, it advises submitting a validation note during the census submission.
Error Message: More than one absence record with absence category of sickness or pregnancy related absence covering the same date(s): Please supply a reason in a return level note.
Only one absent record should be showing for the same dates. If this is not correct, go to the staff member's Staff Profile and select Absences from the left-hand side. Either:
- change the staff absence type/absence category for the staff absence.
- remove or amend the dates of one of the absences.
If this is correct, submit a validation not when you submit your census. In this case you would not be able to remove the query.
