This error indicates that an invalid or archived attendance code has been used to mark attendance during the census attendance period of the previous term.

To resolve this issue, you need to change any invalid codes to a non-archived mark. For steps on how to do this, see our guidance below:
- For individual students: Amending an attendance mark for a student
- For marks from your previous MIS: Editing attendance marks migrated from your old MIS and adding missing marks
This error may also trigger errors 2490, and 2531. If so, resolving the invalid attendance code and regenerating your census will also clear these.
