CPD: Arbor Attendance Core Accreditation

As part of our CPD programme, we’re excited to share our course designed especially for Attendance Leads and Attendance Officers.

This course will build on your existing knowledge of Arbor’s attendance functions in order to a) aid your workload by increasing the effectiveness and speed of your processes, b) ensure you’re ready for whatever Ofsted or your Head throws at you, and c) put you on the path towards being your school’s in-house Arbor expert on attendance.

Following course completion, you will:

  • Understand how to use Arbor features effectively in real-life attendance-based scenarios from first day response to reporting to SLT and/or Governors
  • Have been given the opportunity to assess your existing attendance processes in Arbor with the support of a Specialist, with the aim of streamlining and increasing impact
  • Have built networking links with attendance staff from other Arbor-using schools, sharing best practice
  • Receive a certificate of completion

Top benefits

  • Learn how to use a broad range of Arbor features in attendance-focussed scenarios
  • Be able to report up to SLT or Head/Governors on attendance data in a workload-friendly way
  • Understand the best workflows for undertaking day-to-day tasks such as first day response or legal monitoring
  • Meet and network with other Arbor-using attendance staff

Who is it for?

  • Attendance Leads and Attendance Officers - the content of the course relevant for both roles, and we know from customer feedback that there is often crossover of processes in both
  • You should be currently using Arbor’s functions for the roles above
  • Ideally, you will have completed both the Attendance Management and Attendance Reporting webinar sessions, but recordings of these will be given as part of the pre-course materials and must be completed before attending the first live session
