Before or after you sign into Arbor's Training Hub, it can happen that your page does not quite look right. For example, page elements might seem like they are in the wrong place, images may not have loaded correctly, or the layout might just look 'wrong'. This article helps you troubleshoot and solve this issue.
How do I know if I have a layout or display issue?
Display issues may not be immediately obvious or consistent. You might see that the spacing between page sections and elements just looks off, that the page lacks colour or that the page looks like it was designed 20 years ago. If this is the case, you might be experiencing a display issue.
The image above shows an example of what the page should not look like, the image below gives you an impression of what the page should look like.
How to solve the issue
In most cases, these display issues are caused by your page not having loaded correctly when you first signed in. This is not something you could have mitigated.
To solve this, you can hard refresh your page - this not only reloads the page, but also refreshes any 'broken' versions of the page that might be saved in the background.
To hard refresh, use one of these keyboard shortcuts while viewing the page you want to refresh:
- Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
- Windows: Ctrl + F5
You should see your page refresh within seconds, and the display issue should be resolved.
I still have the problem
If you are still experiencing display issues after doing this, you can also try:
- Signing out completely and clearing your cache and cookies before signing back in
- Adjust your device or browser zoom settings to check if this corrects the issue
- Try a different device or browser
- Check that your network or firewall is not blocking any traffic to or from arboreducation.northpass.com
