This article addresses common errors related to staff position categories and census role identifiers in a school HR system. Error 4410 or 4710
Post is missing or invalid. Role identifier is missing or invalid.
Each Position must be given a the right post (Census Business Role) and role identifier (Position Category). Go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions > Overview and click the tick box next to the right position. Click the Bulk action button then click Bulk Edit Position Category and Census Role Identifier.
In the slide over, select the Position Category and Census Role Identifier, then click Save Changes.

4720, 4723Q, 4772Q and 4722Q
These errors (Post appears to be inconsistent with Role Identifier) appear when the staff member's Position Category and Census Business Role do not fit together.
For the example above, you can see that Kimberley has the position of Head of House on her contract.
This position has been set as having the wrong Position Category or Census Business Role.
This error means that the position has been linked to the incorrect category and identifier.
Go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions > Overview and click the tick box next to the right position. Click the Bulk action button then click Bulk Edit Position Category and Census Role Identifier.
Update the Position category and Census Role Identifier, then click Save Changes.

Errors 4740, 4760 and 4780
Does the staff member have a daily rate?
Check whether the staff member has a daily rate recorded in the Contracts section of their staff profile.
If they do have a daily rate, you can put the Custom FTE salary amount as 0 to clear the errors below.
If the staff member does not have a daily rate, to resolve these errors, go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions. Click on the position you need to amend and click More in the slide over.
Error 4740
Hours worked per week is missing. Hours worked need to be added for each position you have set up.
Go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions > Overviewand select the position. Click the hours per week to add this in, then click Save Changes.
Error 4760
FTE hours per week is missing. Full-time equivalent hours need to be added for each position you have set up.
Go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions > Overview and select the position. Click the FTE hours per week to add this in, then click Save Changes.
Error 4780
Weeks per year is missing.
Weeks per year need to be added for each position you have set up.
Go to School > All Staff > HR Admin > Positions > Overview and select the position. Click the Weeks per year to add this in, then click Save Changes.
Top Tip: Weeks per year needs to be either a whole number or a decimal, so double-check you've not added in a ':'
