The Integrations Hub

The Integrations Hub is a central place in Arbor to discover and manage connections to external software. This page is currently limited to Cashless Catering  (School MIS) and IMP (MAT MIS) integrations. From this screen, you can see certain available integrations, configure ones your school or trust has access to, and securely store credentials and API tokens - without needing to share them outside Arbor. Credentials are encrypted using Amazon encryption.

Permissions

To access the Integrations Hub, you need the School: Integrations: Administer All Integrations permission in Arbor.

If you don't have the permission, you'll need to ask your admin team to give you permission using these instructions.

Finding the Integrations Hub

  • Go to System > Integration Hub > Connections
You will see a page showing cards for available integrations.

Use the tabs to change your view to Configured and Not Configured integrations only. Click on a tile to get taken to the School > Data > Integrations Administration page, where you can see further details on the selected integration.

What you'll see on the page

Each integration appears as a card:
  • Integrations you have access to will show as active and can be configured.
  • Integrations not included in your contract will still appear as cards.
  • Clicking through on an active integration lets you configure it and securely upload any credentials or API tokens it needs, directly within Arbor. Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely.
Top Tip: You no longer need to share credentials outside Arbor. The Integrations Hub lets you store them securely in-product using Amazon encryption.

What integrations are currently available on this page

The following integrations are currently listed in the Integrations Hub; more integrations will be added over time. If you'd like to connect a system not listed here, contact your Customer Success Manager.

For MAT MIS:
  • IMP data connector (currently in beta)

For School MIS:
  • Cashless Catering integrations

FAQs

I can see an integration card, but I can't configure it — what does that mean?

Cards appear for all available integrations regardless of your contract. If you can see a card but cannot configure it, that integration is not included in your current package. Contact your Customer Success Manager to find out more.

Q: Is it safe to enter our credentials directly in Arbor?

Yes. The Integrations Hub stores your credentials securely using Amazon encryption, so you don't need to share them externally.
