How to access the Arbor Finance Training Hub

The Arbor Finance Training Hub & Test Site

Welcome to your Arbor Finance Training Hub, this is where you will book all your Arbor Finance training. Over the course of the next few weeks, you will be preparing for your move to Arbor Finance. To help with questions you may have about the training and support available to you, we’ve popped the below together to help you get started with Arbor Finance.

What training do I have?

Finance Leads are enrolled in all courses listed below, whilst other staff at the school who register for the Training Hub will be enrolled in courses relevant to the Business Role they select.

Where do I book the training and should this be done in advance?

You will be enrolled into the training courses and send an invite to register.

I’d like to get a head start on my training before we start onboarding?

We know you will be eager to get your training underway. The Training Hub has  fantastic modules to work through so you can get the full experience of the system. We have structured the training to fit round your working day. The online content leads you through to our live webinars. Please do start the course as soon as you can - more online content will be released post the first webinar.

Will I receive a training plan?

The online and live webinar content is detailed here. Try to follow the sequence and complete the online learning ahead of each webinar.  You will soon receive a suggested training agenda which includes, live trainer led sessions and self study modules to complete, depending on your role and responsibilities.

Will I be given a test site to work with on my training?

Your login details for your Arbor Finance Training Test site will be shared under separate cover.

This is the Training Test Site that you will use during your training.  Our trainers will demonstrate, using the same data that you now have access to.

When working through the self-study modules, you can use this dataset to embed your learning.

The Test site will be available to you during and for 1 week after your formal training has been completed. Whilst I am sure that post training, you will be confident to work directly in the live platform, should you feel in any way unsure in any way, you can practice in the training suite before committing to processing a live transaction.

Before you start, please make sure you have asked your network/IT manager to whitelist RM Unify, Arbor and Arbor Finance to avoid any difficulties due to firewall protections.

To prepare for the live sessions and the self-study, we ask that you organise the following:

  • A location where you will NOT be disturbed. If you share a space, or it is in a public area, please speak to your Headteacher to find a separate, more isolated environment to complete the live sessions, and if possible, work on the self-study content.
  • Headphones, active microphone in the headset or in the PC.

If you are using a headset, do a test as sometimes PC mic’ creates an echo.
