Your Guide to Groupcall Health Checks
This guide is for schools migrating from SIMS to Arbor via Groupcall Xporter and using Spaces to track Onboarding tasks. You will be able to see your school's 'Groupcall Health Checks' on your Spaces page, and this guide explains what each check means and how to correct errors.
Key Action: Set Up Xporter by Week 2
To ensure your data migration starts smoothly in Week 3, you must have installed and set up Groupcall Xporter correctly by the end of Week 2 of your onboarding.
Your setup must be complete and passing all checks at least 48 hours before your scheduled migration date. Failure to meet this deadline will delay your migration.
Understanding the Health Checks
We run automated Groupcall Health Checks to verify that your Xporter setup is correct and ready. You will be able to view this through your Spaces page:
- true = passed the check,
- false = failed the check
- null = the check has not run
Groupcall Health Check Errors & Required Actions
If you can see a check has failed (false), use the below to find the immediate action required:

| Sufficient Ram |
Your school's server does not have sufficient RAM to meet the requirements for a successful data migration. The recommended amount is 4gb for Primary schools and 8gb or higher (16gb+ recommended for optimum performance) for Secondary schools. | MIS System | During the installation process, an incorrect Management Information System (MIS) was selected. Please review this guide for detailed information on how to select your management system |
| User Permissions Correct | Not all necessary permissions have been added to your Groupcall user. Please review this guide. |
| Endpoints Correct | Not all necessary permissions have been added to your Groupcall user. Please review this guide. |
| Credentials Correct | The username and/or password for accessing your data have not been provided. To help you with this, please review this guide for detailed instructions on how to provide or update your correct credentials. |
| Groupcall Scopes Correct | You have not agreed to all scopes when authorising data sharing. To help you with this, please review this guide for detailed instructions on how to provide data sharing consent. |
| Server Online | Your server is offline. Please ensure your servers are online and accessible. For guidance on how to check your server status or troubleshoot common connectivity issues, please refer to this guide. |
Important: Any failed check must be corrected and passing at least 48 hours before your migration starts to avoid delays. If an error is flagged that is not listed here, please contact your migration team immediately for guidance.
