You can record a staff member's continuous service start date in the Contracts section of their staff profile. To do this on a school site, you’ll need the All staff: Contract management permission, or on a Group site, the Contract management: All Group Staff permission.
This information is not submitted to the DfE through the census, so you do not have to complete this field.
Just click the field to add in the date or amend it.

Top Tip: Click the column headers to view all staff without a date - you can then go to their profile to add this.
