If you can't pay for a club, trip or meal using the Parent Portal or Arbor App, this could be due to a number of things.
Possible reasons you can't pay
- Your school has not yet enabled payments on their site - you won't be able to pay for anything.
- Your school hasn't set up the club or trip yet - you'll need to wait until they do.
- The sign-up period has not yet opened - you'll need to wait for it to open to be able to pay.
- The sign-up period has already closed - unless you signed up before the sign-up period closed, you won't be able to make payments. You'll need to contact your school to pay by cash or cheque.
- Your card has been rejected - we only accept Visa or Mastercard so you'll need to use one of these card types to make card payments.
- The items are sold out - please contact your school.
- You've blocked our payment provider: Why can't I click the button to pay?
Contact your school
Your child's school is responsible for creating and making available all clubs, trips, meals and items to purchase via School Shop (if they are using this Arbor feature). You should contact the school directly if you cannot see the event or item you are wishing to purchase, for example, the club or trip you have been told about is not showing in the Parent Portal or Arbor App.
Things you can check yourself
If you are unable to pay due to your card or payment being rejected, this is personal to you and something you can check yourself. Make sure you are using a Visa or Mastercard card type, and if this is so, ensure you have sufficient balance to cover the costs. In some circumstances, you may need to contact your bank provider. Also, Arbor's payment partner URL (https://js.stripe.com) may be blocked on your network, so please look into whitelisting this.
