How do we migrate exams and access arrangements?

This article outlines the process for migrating exam entries and access arrangements from SIMS and Progresso, noting exceptions for Pearson BTECs and in-house exams. It provides guidance on what data is migrated and what needs to be set up manually.

• We migrate entries from SIMS and Progresso. The only exception is with Pearson BTECs. We can’t automatically scrape this basedata so please follow these instructions: Setting up BTEC qualifications
• We also migrate historic exam results from SIMS.
• Seating plans, exam rooms and timetables are not migrated.

Access Arrangements

We only migrate access arrangements types from SIMS. Comments for access arrangements won't be migrated. If you need to log or edit access arrangements, you can see how to do this here.
