It is not possible in Arbor to set one mobile number as the default to be used when contacting guardians.
Arbor will always set a mobile number as the default number over a landline, but if there are multiple mobile numbers there is no way of prioritising one over the other.
You can add a note to the phone number on the guardian's profile to let staff know one should be used over the other, however it is worth bearing in mind that this will not show on the main student profile page.
To do this:
- Head to the student's profile and scroll to Family, Guardians and Contacts.
- Click on the guardian to bring up a slide-over, and click the guardian's name to get to their profile.
- Click on the relevant phone number and click Edit.
- Input a comment into the Notes box.
- Click Save Changes.
