If a teacher can't access their meal registers they won't be able to log which meal choices students will be having and students won't be invoiced automatically. There are a few reasons why this could happen, but they're all simple to solve.
Step 1 - Check your meal setup
To be able to take meal registers, you will have needed to set up meals at your school (if this is your first year using Arbor), or copied your meal setup over from last year as part of the New School Year Setup process.
Make sure you've clicked +Add to add all your registration forms in the Attendees > Automatic Group Attendees tab. If you've checked your meals set up and everything looks correct, move on to the next step.
Step 2 - Check your academic calendar and lessons
If you have amended your academic calendar to affect today's date or added new timetable slots for today, you will have to open your meal registers manually today. Meal registers open at 4 am each morning, so any new meals required after this time will not be automatically opened.
To do this go to School > Meals > Daily Summary. Click the green Open Register button at the bottom right of the screen. The meal register will then be open and the teacher should be able to access it from their Lesson Dashboard.
Repeat this action for each meal you have for today by clicking each tab at the top of the page, and clicking the green Open Register button for each.
Your meal registers should open automatically tomorrow as normal.
Step 3 - Check meal choices
If you haven't set up automatic meal choices for your students (the optional step here), then teachers will need to manually input each student's meal choices by clicking the box or by using the bulk actions.
If you added an 'Absent' meal provision, this will be automatically input based on the student's attendance in the lesson, so make sure teachers take attendance before taking the meal register.
