Arbor can be used to populate student and staff data into Aspirations through an Excel file export.
You'll need to create two Custom Reports on Arbor to provide your student and staff data. To do this, just follow these steps:
We have two templates that will speed up the process of generating your Custom Reports. Do not open the templates.
Import the template into your site by following these instructions: Importing a report
Once you've imported the template, a report called Aspirations - Staff Report will be created. This will include all your school's currently employed staff, their Form/Year Groups taught and three additional columns - Pastoral Lead, Administrator and Other notes on roles.
Click the Download button in the top-right of the report, and select Excel format to download the report to your computer.
Once downloaded, you'll need to fill in the Pastoral Lead?, Administrator? and Other notes on roles columns in Excel. If you aren’t sure what these additional roles are, please speak to your contact at East Learning.

Click the Download button in the top-right of the report, and select Excel format to download the report to your computer.
Once you have your two reports downloaded, you'll just need to fill in columns that can't be populated in Arbor (Pastoral Lead, Administrator and Other notes on roles on the Staff report, and, if you plan to use them, the optional Academic Banding and Any Other Groupings columns on the Student report). If you aren't using certain 'Optional' columns, these can be deleted.
You can now upload your reports to Aspiratons!
