Hachette Learning (Hodder) Manual Importer

What is this importer? 

To support Hachette Learning with their transition to Boost Insights, we have created a manual importer that mimics the API integration. This importer should only be used by select schools. If you're unsure whether this applies to you, please contact Hachette Learning’s Digital Support team at digitalsupport@hachettelearning.com.

If your school is eligible to use this importer, Hachette Learning will provide you with an export file that can be uploaded to Arbor by following the steps below.

Permissions

To use this importer you will need the following permission: 

• School: Assessments: Administer

Prerequisites

Before using the importer, you must:

1. Contact Hachette Learning to request the JSON file.
2. Save the file on your computer, ready for upload.

How to import the JSON file

1. Navigate to School > Data > Import > Hachette Learning Assessment Import.
   
2. Click Add in the Uploaded Files section.
   
   
   
3. Browse for the file on your computer.
   
   
4. Click the Upload file button.
   
   

Arbor will now begin importing the file as if it had been received via the API connection. Once the import is complete, you can view the data in:

• The Attainment section of the student profile.
• The Assessment Dashboard at both School and MAT MIS levels.
