This article provides instructions on how to add or amend a student's SEN status to indicate their participation in a SEN Unit or Resourced Provision. It details the steps to access the Student Profile, add or edit SEN information, and the limitations regarding reporting on these students.
You can identify students as being part of a Resourced Provision.
Please note that there is no way to report on students with Resourced Provision indicator, or to update them in bulk. However, when completing the School Census, these students will appear in table 10.
If you need to add the SEN Status
1. Go to the Student Profile
2. Click on Educational Needs on the left-hand menu.
3. Click +Add in the SEN Status Assignment History section.
4. Enter the SEN information and make sure to tick the Member of SEN Unit box or the Resourced Provision box, depending on which applies.
5. Click the green Add SEN Status button.
You will be able to see this when you click on the SEN status under the SEN Status Assignment History section.
If the SEN Status is already set but needs amending
Go to the Student Profile and click Educational Needs in the left-hand menu.
Click on the status under the SEN Status Assignment History section.
Click the orange Edit button.
Tick the Member of SEN Unit box or the Resourced Provision box, depending on which applies for this student.
Click the green Update SEN Status button.
You will be able to see this when you click on the SEN status under the SEN Status Assignment History section.
