Schools can have multiple Centre numbers if they merge, but Arbor allows only one Exam Centre Number per site. Users can record A.O issued centre numbers separately. To manage multiple centres, schools must contact exam boards for a single number or split into two MIS sites. Modifying results files is possible but not recommended.
Schools may have more than one Centre number if they have recently merged with other schools. In Arbor, it isn't possible to have two or more Exam Centre Numbers.
You'll notice by going to Students > Examinations > Administration > Centre Setup that it isn't possible to set up additional Centre Numbers.
You can record A.O issued centre number. This is sometimes different to the School's overall Centre Number - you can record this by clicking on Awarding Organisations and clicking the field to add the number.
Because you can only have one overall Exam Centre number per MIS site, you will need to either:
- contact the Exam boards to request a single Centre Number
- split your school into two MIS sites - please get in touch with our Partnership Team by emailing customersales@arbor-education.com to discuss further
- Modify results files to enable you to import them. Please note that this is not recommended, and we are not able to support this should you choose to do this.
