How to use the Arbor Training Hub

Activating Your Account

• From within your email, click “Activate Account”
• You’ll then be redirected to create your profile, see the screenshot below:

• Hit Save Profile, you can now access the Training Hub!
• From the Home page navigate around the Arbor Training Hub and start to complete your training.

Logging into the Hub if you are the Arbor Project Lead when onboarding begins

At the start of your onboarding, the Project Lead at your school will be able to nominate other users at your school for an account on The Arbor Training Hub using one of the options below:

• Option 1  The Project Lead will receive a survey before onboarding begins, asking them to nominate other staff at your school into key project roles and as module champions. Nominated users will get access to The Arbor Training Hub in the same way as outlined above (activation email)
• Option 2  The same survey will be sent to you at the start of your onboarding, during week 1.

Dashboard

The dashboard gives you an overview of everything you need to know about your Training. You can see the Learning Paths that you are a part of, all of the training courses you are enrolled in, and a calendar for any events that you have coming up.

Learning Paths

Learning Paths are curated sets of courses for a tailored learning experience. For example:

• If you are the Project Lead for your Primary School, you can follow the “01. Primary Pre Go-Live” learning path to complete all of the training courses required before migration. Then move onto the "02. Primary Post Go-Live" to deepen your knowledge of the system after you go live.
• If you are the Assessment Lead, you can follow the “Assessment Lead” learning path to complete all of the required assessment training to get this module up and running at your school.

All users will be enrolled onto all learning paths that are available, but you only have to follow a path that is relevant for your role. You also don’t have to follow a learning path and can complete courses in any order outside of the learning path if you prefer.

Events

Events are live training webinars that you can register for, to enable you to attend a live webinar with our Customer Education Team - as these sessions are live, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the Customer Education Team and ask questions. To book these, select a Learning Path you are on to find the Live Sessions available. Then, select Start Path and within each Live Session tile you can select your preferred date and Register. You will then receive an email with the details of your booking.

The Arbor Foundations training covers individual modules in Arbor, such as "Attendance" or "Student Profiles & Enrolment". You'll need to complete any sessions relevant to your role to use Arbor effectively when you Go Live!

Training courses are either e-learning or live trainer-led webinars, known as an "Event" or 'Live Session' in The Arbor Training Hub.

As you work through the training in the Learning Path, the training is divided as follows:

• ArborFoundations: [Course Name]: Self-paced learning course (e-learning)
• Live Session: Trainer-led webinar
• Resources: [Course Name]: Resources to refer back to after attending the live session
• Using Arbor's Entity Importers: Self-paced course to help during migration

If viewing all training courses via the Dashboard, click on a training course to start the eLearning course and head to the Events page to find the associated live webinar.

1-1 Training (Behaviour, Assessments, Bespoke)

You can book your 1-1 sessions (for example, Assessments, Behaviour or any Bespoke training sessions) in the relevant courses on The Arbor Training Hub. If you have already purchased a service, the course will display on your Dashboard, or as part of a Learning Path.
