This article guides you through the first step of verifying your card payment details in Arbor, including adding and confirming your school's address details.

Getting started
To get started with your card payments setup and start the verification process:
- Head to School > Payments > Setup.

Click on Card Payments > Accounts for Card Payments on the left-hand side.
- Click the grey 'Set up account for card payments' button in the top-right corner or the green +Add button.
Once you have started the verification process, you can return to the setup from this page by clicking the orange "Continue setup" button (which replaces the grey "Set up account for card payments" button).
Verifying your School Details
The first screen of the setup process lists the school's details that will be submitted during the verification process.
The fields are pre-filled with data already saved in Arbor for your school. Please double-check that this information is correct, as inaccuracies can cause the setup process to fail.
The required fields on this page are your school's:
- Name
- URN
- Telephone number
- Address (only the fields below are required)
- Address line one
- City/Town
- Postcode
- Country
You can amend the details on this page by clicking the grey View School Details button in the top-right corner or by going to School > School Details; both options take you to the page that holds the pre-filled information.
Editing school details
To edit non-contact details on the School > School Details page:
- Click on the field you want to edit (like URN or school name)
- Make your edit on the slide over
- Confirm your edits by pressing Save Changes
To edit address details:
- Click on the listed address
- On the slideover, click Correct Mistake in Address or Delete Address
- Make your edits
- Click Save Changes
To edit the school's phone number:
- Click on the listed phone number
- Click the orange Edit button on the slideover
- Make your edit
- Press Save Changes
Things to note during this step
The address and URN you provide are essential for our payments provider to verify payment setup, so ensure accuracy.
Your details can be verified against public resources, such as the Get Information about Schools (GIAS) and your proof of address.
Ensure the information and address format match the details on your proof of address. If unsure about City/Town, refer to your proof or check GIAS to see how the address is listed there to inform your choice.
