This article guides you through the second step in setting up card payments in Arbor, which involves uploading your school's proof of address. The guide includes instructions on how to upload documents and details on the types of files you can use.

Document requirements
Now that you have confirmed your school's details are correctly stored in Arbor, it's time to upload a document that confirms your school name and address.
Please note: the details on the verification document must match your school name and address specified during the previous step, and your document must include the following information:
- School name
- School address
- URN
You can use one of these types of documents:
- Recommended - Your school's full Ofsted inspection report (you can get this from here). Just type in your school's name or URN (find this in School > School Details) and click on your school to download the Full inspection report (a shorter report won't be sufficient).
- Utility bill in the name of your school
- Bank-issued document in the name of your school
- Companies House Document
- Charity Commission Document
Your document must meet the following upload requirements:
- Clear and large enough to read
- In PDF format
- Less than 10MB in size
We don't have the correct documents
If you have recently changed your URN or your utility bills are addressed at the MAT level, you may find it challenging to obtain adequate proof of address.
In cases like these, you can also submit a picture of your school's Ofsted profile page to verify your school.
To do this:
- Head to https://get-information-schools.service.gov.uk/
- Find your school's profile using the search
- Take a screenshot of your school's profile and make sure the school's name, address and URN are all clearly visible.
Uploading a document
We do not recommend uploading more than one document at a time. Uploading multiple files can cause the verification process to fail.
If you need to try a different document, please remove the old one before uploading the new one. To remove a file, click the bin icon next to the file you want to delete.
To upload a new document:
- Drag your file from a folder on your device into the Attachments section

- Click the green 'click to upload' link
- Select your file and click Open
Once you're happy with your document upload, click the green Next button to go to the next step and proceed to the following guide in the series: 4. Entering Controller/Owner details
