What is Arbor Workflows Bespoke Training?
As part of supporting you in getting the most out of Arbor Workflows, we’re excited to share our 1:1 training offer for those who would like to dig deeper into Workflows functionality in a way that is tailored to their school/MAT needs.
This training will offer an opportunity to discuss the pain points within your administrative tasks and explore how Arbor Workflows could automate those repetitive processes, reliably and simply, through demonstration and build with support from a Customer Education Specialist.
The training consists of a mandatory two-hour Arbor Workflows Consultation and Setup session in the first instance, with the option to buy further hours of Arbor Workflows Setup if required.
Following course completion, you will:
- Understand how Arbor Workflows function on a detailed level, and how they can help your school/MAT-specific processes
- Feel comfortable with navigating Arbor Workflows
- Have at least one Workflow structure - possibly more depending on complexity - built in your site, with the knowledge and skills to build more

- Discovery consultation: discuss your key processes you wish to automate within Arbor Workflows with a Customer Education Specialist
- Guided build & test: Start building a workflow using 'WOWS' with guidance from the Customer Education Specialist on the best way to set it up based on the discovery consultation.
- Next Steps in managing your workflow: Show where you can kick off your workflow, publish, assign permissions and edit steps.
Remember: After you have completed your initial Consultation and Setup, you can purchase further Setup hours with one of our Customer Education Specialists if you wish.

Note: Your session will not be booked automatically on purchase. You must select to start the course to access the content, including the booking link to book your training session with our Customer Education Specialists.
Before you join your booked session

Have in mind a process with key steps ready to discuss in your session.
Note: If you are a MAT on Advanced Tier and wish to utilise Spreadsheets, please ensure you have integrated your shared area e.g. Google Sheets and created your spreadsheet ready for the session. Guidance can be found here. - Check you are able to access the session by ensuring Zoom.us is whitelisted at your school and is not blocked by any filters on the device(s) you are joining from.
- Test your speakers so you can clearly hear and ensure your camera and microphone are enabled. The training is conversation based and the success of it relies on engagement with the process.
- Where possible, set up a second device or tab on your browser so you can log into your site and take part in guided building of workflows. If you do not have a second screen, ensure you are logged into your account to build your workflow.
- Put a sign on your door or find a quiet place to join the session from. It's important you are given time to focus on the training without distractions where possible as we will be covering a lot of important content throughout the session. But don't worry, if you need a break just ask your Customer Education Specialist and they will fit one in.
What to expect after the course is complete
You will receive a follow up email from the Customer Education Specialist with links to your consultation document including any useful supporting articles.
Depending on the complexity of your processes, you will have at least one workflow structure - possibly more - built in your Arbor site that you can utilise when you are ready to publish.
Although the Arbor Workflows Consultation and Setup will enable you to become self-sufficient in building workflows, we also offer additional Arbor Workflows Setup Hours. These additional hours can be utilised if you wish to continue building workflows with support from a Customer Education Specialist. These can be purchased by emailing customersales@arbor-education.com.
