Ending a Service Child Status due to no longer being a Service Child
If they were a Service Child but has ended or you know an end date for this status, click on Service Child.
Click on their status in the Current Service Child Status section.
Enter the End Date and click the green Save Changes button.
It will now show as Service Child 'No' but indicate they do have a Service Child History.
What if I have ended the service date and still showing as a Service Child?
- Reason 1 - The end date is in the future. If the date is correct, you will need to wait for this date to pass for them to not be a current Service Child anymore.
- Reason 2 - The student has more than one set of Service Child dates in their Service Child History.
Changing Service Child status dates
If the dates are incorrect for their Service Child status and need changing, click on the Service child field.
Click on their Service Child dates in the Service Child History section.
Change the dates as appropriate and click the green Save Changes button.
Deleting a Service Child Status due to error
If they were never meant to be a Service Child, you can delete their status entirely.
Click on their Service Child dates in the Service Child History section.
Click the red Delete button.
Click the red Yes, Delete button.
They will return to Service Child 'No'. Make sure if they have multiple Service Child History dates, that you delete all of the history so they return to Service Child 'No'.
