Which browser should we use when accessing Arbor?

For optimal use of Arbor, it is recommended to access the platform using the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer is no longer supported. Users should upgrade from Legacy Edge to the Chromium-based version. Arbor is also working on mobile compatibility for supported browsers.

What browsers are supported?

For the best possible user experience, please access Arbor using the latest version of one of these browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

We recommend Google Chrome as this is the most widely used and is the browser we perform the most testing against.

Please note: We are no longer supporting Internet Explorer, so users should move to use another browser. If you are using Internet Explorer and something in Arbor is not working as it should, please switch to using a supported browser. If the issue also occurs on the new browser, please report it to our support team.

Which version of Microsoft Edge can we use?

Microsoft does not support Legacy Edge and expects users to upgrade to Edge based on Chromium. You can read more about the update here. If you're unsure which version you're using please get in touch with Microsoft support.

If you use Legacy Edge and something in Arbor is not working as it should, please switch to using a supported browser. If the issue also occurs on the new browser, please report it to our support team.

Can I use the supported browsers on my mobile phone?

We are working towards making Arbor fully responsive for all users on mobile using our supported browsers. This is a long-term initiative, but once complete means Arbor will be compatible with any device, removing the need for a dedicated staff app. See more info about using Arbor on mobile here.
