How do I add my Asylum Seeker Reference Number (NASS) on the Parent Portal or App?

If your school uses Free School Meal eligibility checking, they may ask you to add an Asylum Seeker Reference Number (sometimes called a NASS number) to your profile. This is used instead of a National Insurance number when verifying eligibility with the DfE's Eligibility Checking Service.

Adding your Asylum Seeker Reference Number on the Parent Portal

You can update your own Asylum Seeker Reference number on the Parent Portal. Click on your child's name to access their profile.
