In some areas of Arbor, hours and minutes need to be put in decimal format, such as 1.5. An example of this would be on the National Tutoring Programme page.
Other areas of Arbor need to have hours and minutes put in this format 00:00 with a colon between. Here an hour and a half (1.5 hours) should be input as 01:30. Here are some places where you might need to add hours in this format:
- Hours for Early Years and Nursery students: Hours at setting, funded hours, extended hours and 30 hour codes
- Contracted Hours per week: Managing Staff Contracts
You need to use the correct format of two numbers, a colon, then two more numbers. For example, if you type 15.00, it will set the hours as 00:00 and the correct funded hours would not save for the students.
