This article provides instructions on how to delete Shared Teaching courses or timetable slots, including permissions required, steps for deleting individual or bulk courses, and handling courses that have already been pushed to teaching schools.
If you want to delete a Shared Teaching course, the course needs to have not been pushed to the teaching schools. Please check the course on the Shared Teaching Admin site, in System > Shared Teaching Admin.
Permissions
You'll need the School: Shared Teaching: Setup permission, which isn't assigned to any business role by default, so must be manually given to users. You can only assign this business role if your MIS site is the Shared Teaching Admin site.
If you don't have permission, you'll need to ask your admin team to give you permission using these instructions on a school site or these instructions on a MAT site.

Click the course name and click Delete.
Delete courses in bulk
To delete courses in bulk, go to the overview on the Shared Teaching Admin site. Select the courses to delete and click the Bulk action button to choose Delete Template Courses. Top Tip: This will only delete courses not yet pushed out to schools.

If you just want to delete a timetable slot, click into the slot and click Delete.
You can also do this from the the Template Timetable Slots tab on the overview.

Deleting the whole course
If the course has been pushed to the teaching schools, you won't be able to delete it.
Staff (or you if you have a login to the school site) also can't delete it from the class overview on the school's site, even if no attendance has been taken.
In this case we would recommend ending the timetable slots, and setting up new ones.
Go to System > Shared Teaching Admin on the Shared Teaching Admin site and select the course. Click on each timetable slot to add an end date.
Push the changes to end the timetable slots out to your schools. You'll then need to set up a new course if needed.
