To Do list for expired detentions from a previous academic year

This article provides guidance on managing expired detentions from a previous academic year in Arbor. It explains how to resolve issues with automatic workflows for assigning detentions, including necessary permissions and steps to set up current year detentions.

Arbor will automatically flag to you if your automatic workflows can't assign students to detentions correctly.

Permissions

You'll need either the Behaviour: Behaviour Policy or School: Action: Behaviour: Administer permission to fix this issue. If you don't have the permission, you'll need to ask your admin team to give you permission using these instructions.

Resolving the To Do list item

If you are using Incident Workflows to automatically assign detentions to students and you don't have any upcoming detentions scheduled, you'll see an item in your to do list.

This will take you to your behaviour setup. You can also get here by going to Students > Behaviour > Setup, selecting the Incidents tab and selecting Automatic Incident Workflows.

In the slide over, select a detention for the current academic year to have students assigned to. If you don't see the right option here, you'll need to set up detentions for this year: Copying Behaviour over to this year
