This article explains how to view and categorise Child Protection students in the system, detailing the Statuses and Summary pages where users can see lists of students with Child Protection Plans and their respective statuses.
To view your Child Protection students, go to Students > Demographics > Child Protection Students.
- On the Statuses page, you can see a list of students who have a Child Protection Plan.
- On the Summary page, you can see a list of the students categorised according to their Child Protection Statuses (Child in need, Child protection plan, Historical & SEN Monitoring).

The Statuses page
In Students > Demographics > Child Protection Students > Statuses you can see a list of students who have a Child Protection Plan. This list will show the students' names, Reg. form, child protection statuses and their child protection plans' start and end date.
If you click on a student's name you will be taken to the Child Protection section of that student's Student Profile.
If you click on the filters at the top of the Statuses page, you can narrow down your search.
The Summary page
In Students > Demographics > Child Protection Students > Summary you can see a list of the students categorised according to their Child Protection Statuses (Child in need, Child protection plan, Historical & SEN Monitoring).
If you click on a particular status, such as Child protection plan, you will be given a list of the students who fall under that category.
If you click on a student's name you will be taken to the Child Protection section of their Student Profile.
In My Classroom
Child protection students will also have a CP tag on My Classroom seating plans, for easy identification of their needs when teaching and taking registers.
