Data collection sheets

A data collection sheet can be sent out to a student's primary guardians allowing them to provide any information your school is missing, such as addresses and contact numbers.

Permissions

To produce a data collection sheet you'll need to have both the Student: Admin: Administer My/All Students and Student: Identity: Administer My/All Students permissions. If you don't have these permissions, ask your admin team to assign them to you.

Creating your Data Collection Sheet

To enable you to generate data collection sheets for your applicants, you'll need to set up a Custom Group for them. Follow the instructions in this article to set up your custom group before returning to the Data Collection Sheets page: Custom Group for applicants and admissions this year

Go to Students > All Students > Browse Students > Bulk export > Data Collection Sheets. Once you have selected the group you require, click Download data Collection Sheets.

If the file is large, it may take a few moments for Arbor to process the sheets. You'll receive a notification when they're ready to download.

Click on the notification to download your PDF file.

The PDF will then download to your computer, which you can open.

If you wanted to send these to guardians, you can print the files.

You can also use external software to split the file, or select an individual student to print, and repeat. You can then follow these instructions to import and match them to students, then send via email: Share documents in bulk via email. You could also send the emails one at a time.
