Why is the school not on the list when exporting a CTF or adding Education and Employment History?

If you can't select a school when generating a CTF or adding Education and Employment history, this usually means you have not yet added the institution to your site. Arbor won't create a list of schools - they come from what your school has added in. 

You can see this in School > Linked Organisations > Educational Institutions. If the school of your choice is not on the list on this page, you will need to add this before sending the CTF by following this article.

When the school isn't listed here, you will need to add this as an Educational Institution.

I've added the school to my site but it hasn't appeared when I create a CTF

If you have added the school into the Educational Institutions part of Arbor and this doesn't help, you'll need to check if the destination school is on the Get Information About Schools site.

• If it's not there ask the school in question to get in touch with the DfE so they can be added to their system.
• If the school is already on the Get Information About Schools site then contact the Arbor Support Team if supported by Arbor, or your Support Partner if not supported by Arbor.
