This article explains how to centrally edit the columns displayed in assessment marksheets by navigating to the Marksheet settings. Users can choose to show or hide various demographic and assessment-related columns, change their order, and lock certain columns. Permissions are required to make these changes, and users are advised to save their changes after editing.
You can choose to show or hide different columns in your marksheets by going to:
1. Students > Assessment > Assessment Framework > Marksheet settings.
If you want to set up custom marksheets for certain assessments, follow these instructions instead.
Once you've finished editing, make sure to click Save changes to apply your changes to marksheets.
Permissions
To edit the settings you will need the Assessments: Administer permission to change these settings. If you don't have this permission, ask your admin team to assign it to you.
Context columns to show
- You can choose to display whether or not the student is part of a demographic such as Disadvantaged or choose to not show baselines in summative marksheets.
- You can add any User-defined field to display, or show year to date attendance.
- You can also include Early Years, KS1 or KS2 DfE standardised assessments - we'll only include this column in Marksheets if at least one student in the student group has a grade.
Change the order of columns in marksheets by dragging and dropping from top to bottom.
Assessment columns to show
Choose which targets and columns to show in all your marksheets, to save teachers clicking into the filters on marksheets each time. Just select the column(s), and click Add column(s).
When not selected, the Students > Summative Assessment > Mark Entry > Marksheet pages will still show Baseline and Year target by default.
Choose to Show Display Grade Sets to have any display grade scales you've set up in your grade set show on the marksheets alongside the current mark, so you can see how they map. You can see more information on this here: Display grades using different scales on marksheets
Choose to Show RANK order to include a column to assign a value to students depending on where they rank compared to other students on the same marksheet. You can see more information on this here: Rank students for summative assessments
Choose to Show Current vs Baseline to include a column that calculates the progress score from each students' baseline for each assessment period. You can see more information on this here: Progress from Baseline to Current grade on marksheets
Columns to hide
Choose whether to hide all Ad hoc comments and baselines from marksheets. Just select the column(s) to hide, and click Add column(s).
Columns to lock
