Query 2982Q and 2983Q

Queries 2982 and 2983 address issues with school hours, indicating that the recorded hours are either outside the expected range or missing. Users should update the Weekly Hours Open field in School Details to ensure hours are between 25:00 and 40:00. If hours are correct but still trigger a query, a validation note is required upon census submission.

• 2982 - School time is outside of the expected range.
• 2983 - School time is missing.

The hours are expected to be filled in, and be between 25:00 and 40:00. 

You must enter these in the format HH:MM, where the first two digits are hours and the second two are minutes separated by a colon. Do not enter the hours as a decimal (i.e. they should not be separated by a dot)

You will need the School: General Admin: Administer permission to add or change Weekly Opening Hours

Checking and Changing the Hours

• Go to School > School Details 
• Click into the Weekly Hours Open field to see the number of hours and minutes that your school is open per week
  • If the hours recorded here are incorrect, correct them and press Save
  • If the hours are correct, you won't be able to clear the query. You'll need to add a validation note when you submit your census.

Important note:

• Hours and numbers need to be entered in the HH:MM format
• For single-digit hours or minutes (e.g 5 minutes), ensure you add a 0 in front of the single digit (E.g. 35:05, not 35:5)
• Make sure you separate hours and minutes with a colon, not a decimal/dot (e.g. 40:00, not 40.00)
