How do Exclusion Reasons in Arbor map to the DfE codes?

When recording Permanent Exclusions and Fixed Period Exclusions (Suspensions), you need to add a reason for the exclusion.

How Exclusion Reasons map to DfE Export Codes

We often get asked why we have more options in Exclusion Reasons than the DfE's list. The reason for this is so you have more granularity in recording and reporting at your school, but in the background of Arbor, we map our Exclusion Reasons list to the DfE Export Codes.

Please note that this is a list for UK DfE schools. For Isle of Man schools or schools completing the ILR, please contact us if you require a list.
