This article provides guidance on handling the 4008Q query regarding 16-19 Learner Funding. It explains how to add funding to student profiles if applicable, or how to add a validation note if no students are receiving this funding.

4008Q - Please check: no students on roll are in receipt of 16-19 Learner Funding and Monitoring.

To resolve this:

  • If students are in receipt of this, you'll need to add this to student profiles following these instructions: Adding funding to a student
  • If no students are in receipt of this, you'll just need to add a validation note when submitting your census to COLLECT.

    I have just loaded my census onto the DfE and the query is still showing

    Hi Rachel, if this is still showing in COLLECT:

    • If students are in receipt of this, you'll need to add this to student profiles following these instructions: Adding funding to a student
    • If no students are in receipt of this, you'll just need to add a validation note when submitting your census to COLLECT.
