Taking attendance for a breakfast or after-school club

You can access wraparound care club registers from different areas depending on your permissions.  Please note that it is not possible to switch taking attendance off: Can we choose to not take attendance for wraparound care clubs?

Permissions

  • To take attendance for an after-school or breakfast club, you'll need to have the Attendance: Administer My Students permission and be set as the Club lead.
  • If you're an Administrator, you'll need the Attendance: Administer All Students permission.

If you don't have the permission, you'll need to ask your office team to give you permission using these instructions.

 

Taking attendance for an after-school or breakfast club

If you have been set as the Club Lead, access the Session Overview by clicking the event in your calendar if you are the club lead.

If you're an administrator, go to School > Activities > Clubs. Select the club you want to take attendance for.

From the Club Overview, click on the session you want to take attendance for.

Select the session to take attendance for (you'll need to scroll down in the slide over).

Click the Take Register button.

You can then take the register in the same way you would a lesson.

Printing the register

Click the Download register button to print the register for the session.

Seeing signups and marks for students in a certain club

Go to School > Activities > Clubs. Select the club, then go to Club Daily Summary from the left-hand menu.

This will show all students signed up for the session, and their attendance mark once the register has been taken.

All club registers at your school

Seeing past club registers

You can view these on the Registers by Date page in Arbor. This article shows you how to use this page.

It will show you all your registers generated, including lessons, interventions and activities.

Viewing all of today's Club registers

Go to Students > AttendanceThis will show you the attendance for today by default.

Click on the filters at the top of the page to change the date and select Clubs. Then click Apply.

The table will then only show clubs that require attendance to be taken for that day.
