This article explains how to add or remove a staff member from a single lesson in the lesson dashboard, including steps for accessing the dashboard and limitations on removing staff assigned as Academic Lead or Form Tutor.
You can add a staff member to a single lesson, meaning this one lesson will appear in their calendar. If this is for cover purposes, we'd recommend instead using the Cover area.
1. To get to the lesson dashboard, go to Students > Attendance > Registers by Date
2. Select the date the lessons take place.
3. On the slide-over, you'll need to select Lesson Overview.
On the Lesson Dashboard for a lesson, you can see which staff are assigned. These will have either been assigned as the Academic Lead or Form Tutor, or added to the ongoing timetable slots. You can find guidance on how to add staff in this way here.
4. To add a staff member, click +Add.
You can then add the staff member.
To delete a staff member click on their name. You will be able to delete them if they were added to a single lesson.
You will not be able to remove them if they were added as the Academic Lead or Form Tutor, or added to the ongoing timetable slots. You can find guidance on how to remove staff added in this way here.
