View students with broken weeks of attendance to spot absence trends

The Broken Weeks report will show how many weeks of attendance have been broken due to a student being marked as absent.

A broken week is a week where a student has received an absence mark for any roll call sessions during that week. This is useful to spot any regular patterns of absence.

To get to this page click Students > Attendance > Absentees > Broken Weeks

The date range can be adjusted by clicking on the current date to view a period of your choice.

This page only takes into account unauthorised absence codes, so you might find some weeks broken by authorised marks aren't shown on the report. You can see which marks contribute towards unauthorised absences here: Attendance codes and how they count towards statutory attendance

You can take various actions by first selecting students using the tick boxes, and clicking on the blue pencil. A list will appear with several options to choose from, including sending communications to Primary Guardians and creating an Intervention.
