Creating DfE Code Reports
Go to Students > Attendance > Reports to generate a report of marks and dates for each student - sometimes called a herringbone report in other systems.
Here you can generate an excel report of all students statutory roll call marks by choosing the reporting dates then clicking the green button.
You can choose whether or not to include student's ethnicity, FSM and SEN in the report.
You’ll see a pop up saying that you’ll need to wait until the certificates have been generated.
When they have been generated, you’ll get a notification in the top right of your page. Click the bubble, then click the notification to download the certificates to your computer, then open the file.
In this excel file, there is one row per student showing their numbers and percentages of presents and lates, as well as each AM and PM statutory roll call session marks. It also includes the student's first and last names in separate columns, sex, registration form, year group.
Statutory Attendance report with marks by week
Go to Students > Attendance > Reports and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Select the dates and click the green button to download your report.
This will download an excel document of all student's in the school's individual attendance marks for each AM and PM statutory roll call session. It also includes the student's first and last names in separate columns, date of birth, registration form and UPN. There will be one row for each week, so each student will have multiple rows.
