Custom Favourites on My Homepage

This article explains how to personalize your Arbor homepage using the Favourites menu, allowing users to bookmark frequently used pages and rename them for easier access. It details the default Favourites, how to add or remove pages and actions, and how to edit the names of Favourites.

Personalise your Arbor homepage with the Favourites menu. You can bookmark the pages you use most often, so you can get to them quickly and easily every day. Plus, rename your favourited pages to make them more relevant to you.

What has changed?

Everything in Quick Actions and Shortcuts is in Favourites by default.

  • Items that were previously in Shortcuts have been renamed to the page name.
  • The list is ordered alphabetically. Top Tip: If you want to group or reorder the list, rename the Favourites and add a marker at the beginning (such as a number).
  • We have not removed any links or actions that you could previously do from your homepage.

Add a page to Favourites

Top Tip: Any pages you favourite will show in your Favourites list only. There is no central page to edit all staff favourites.

To add a page to Favourites, navigate to the page you want to add. In the left-hand menu, click the star icon.

Click Add to Favourites to add the link to your homepage.

You can only add the main page itself, any specific page filters or hashing cannot be saved as separate favourites.

  • If you want to, you can set your own name for the page in this step, or do this later. Top Tip: This name will only show on your homepage, and won't change the name of the actual page in menus or on the page itself.

If you want to, you can set your own name for the page, or do this later. Top Tip: This name will only show on your homepage, and won't change the name of the actual page in menus or on the page itself.

This is particularly relevant to adding Custom Report Writer reports to your Favourites, as the page name defaults to View Report for all reports.
