When the new school year begins, you’ll need to add your Award and Units to your Qualification Offering to be able to make entries. You can easily duplicate them from last year.
Top Tips:
- To complete these steps, you must first have completed the New School Year Setup process so you're able to select the next academic year.
- If your school is new and hasn't used the Examinations area in Arbor before, you won't be able to follow the instructions below. Instead you can see how to set up your centre and exams here: Setting up and customise your centre for exams
Permissions
You'll need the Qualifications: Administer All Students permission to copy exams. If you don't have permissions, ask your administration team to give you permission using these instructions.
Copying over your Qualification Offering
Awards and Units added to your School's Qualification Offering exist within a certain academic year, so need to be added each year.
Go to Students > Examinations > Qualification Offering. Make sure the right academic year is selected in the drop-down and click the Copy previous year's Qualification Offering button.
In the slide over you can see 3 lists of qualifications that you ran last year that:
- you can copy over
- you can't copy over, such as if it is no longer operational as per Ofqual data
- you have already copied over and therefore cannot copy over again
Be sure to scroll down to see the full three lists. Each list will show the Awarding Body, Qualification Scheme code and Title.
Click Copy qualification offering.
Add new qualifications
If a qualification doesn't appear here, you may not have set it up last year. In this case (or if you cannot copy it over), you will need to set it up from scratch.

Removing qualifications
